At long last/social gatherings/after a year and a half/ drawing huge crowds/of the proud and the happy/highly conscious of fashion/while looking for a catch/in the sheer hoo-ha of being back/intoned into soundtracks/paired with billowing anoraks/and practical cargo pants/in costume mash ups/layered in black/taken aback to a distant past/donning tux jackets/ and carrying trick-or-treat pumpkin bags …
